“Interspaces” – Make way for the creative innovator!
Project “Interspaces” is a course designed to equip the young people of the town to engage in active creative dialogue with their own town. The creative entrepreneurship combines genuine creative learning in primary schools and practical creativity in young people’s own communities. It is about promoting creative working methods in a spontaneous, lively and very flexible way, so the actual shape reflects the content. Finally the projects are presented to the town at an exhibition.
Know drawbacks of design:
Primary schools have tight budgets and the school in Nørre Snede is no exception. So the project is dependent on its local network. The next natural step is to link the creative entrepreneurship to local resourceful companies, whose annual sponsorships make it possible to repeat the project for the school’s 8th year group as a returning event, with new content each time. The young people will be offered a different view of teaching and interdisciplinary, which will develop a heightened sense of belonging to their town and the businesses they encounter in the community. This may develop and strengthen local networks and local innovation. It is a step away from Rearguard Denmark and up towards Vanguard Denmark.
